ODINCARSA work plan 2006-2007
The ODINCARSA work plan has been approved by the IODE Officers during their february 2006 meeting:
The expected deliverables include:
- Translation of Ocean teacher to Spanish.
- No less of 5 National Trainings workshops on Ocean data management in in ODINCARSA Member countries.
- Incorporation of Dominican Republic and Uruguay to ODINCARSA.
- Roadmap for the establishment of National Oceanographic Data Centers in the Caribbean.
- Three Technical Virtual Fora on Data Management issues.
- One Virtual forum for Planning with Caribbean members
- Regional Ocean Data Base for GRASP/GOOS countries.
- MIM Regional Group for the Caribbean.
- First phase implementation of ODIN PUB CARSA Repository.
- 25 IAMSLIC memberships for Caribbean and Latin America libraries
- 2 Digital ODINCARSA Newsletters in English and Spanish
- ODINCARSA web site updated.
- Project proposal for the establishment of a Pilot joint Project GOOS-JCOMM-ODINCARSA in Caribbean and South America.
- Progress reports, final project report.
